The Order of Watching Dragonball Series in correct way
Dragonball was the first anime that I watched it opened the vast anime world for me.
Now when I rewatched it I think it's a pretty long series to watch and most of the anime fans won't understand where to start watching it from.
Whether to watch all of its movies or to watch the anime only.
let me help to watch it in the correct way.
Order of watchlist
Those who want to get the best experience and understand the Dragonball history from its origin all the way to the latest arc may want to follow this list.
The very first Dragonball arc in which we get to know the origin of Goku and his friends and their search for Dragon balls. we also get to know the origin of the piccolo in this arc.
Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball Kai till Frieza saga
The second arc covers the story up to the Frieza saga. This arc contains more fighting scenes than the previous arc. new characters also get added to the story and the story gets more interesting.
Bardock: Father of Goku Movie
This movie shows the story of Goku’s father Bardock and shows the story of Bardock after the events of Frieza destroying Planet Vegeta. this has to be one of my favourites of all the other arcs mentioned because of Bardock.new fans of this series are definitely gonna love Bardock.
Dragon Ball Z through the Cell Saga
This arc shows the story after the Frieza saga and the reappearances of characters such as Goku and Frieza and mysterious character Trunks and also the arrival of the new villain Cell.
later in the story, we come to know that he has come from the future to protect humanity from destruction. To know the things that happen later, you will have to watch this arc.
Dragon Ball Z through the Buu saga
This arc shows the story after the story of the cell saga. we get to meet Goten Goku’s second son and Trunks Vegeta’s son, and our beloved Gohan has grown up a lot and has started attending college.
Gohan trains Goten for an upcoming tournament for fighters around the world hosted by Hercules.
we get to see some chilling actions as well as some emotional scenes in this arc. you have to see the fusions that happen in the later episodes.
Dragon Ball GT
By using some mysterious dragonballs Goku becomes a kid again. this arc shows how Goku his grandchild Pan and Trunks adventure around different worlds to collect the mysterious dragonballs to return Goku to his original form.
In the later arc the story becomes more serious and many obstacles await Goku and his friends, new villains arrive and there are lots and lots of great fighting scenes that to want to see.
Dragon Ball Super
The latest arc that was ongoing recently shows the story after the events of the Buu saga. there is an upcoming disaster awaiting Goku and his friends with the appearance of Lord Beerus who is said to be the god of destruction.
Later in the arc, we get to see the tournament arc in which fighters from all different universes fight with each other to save their universe from getting destroyed. this arc may be the most thrilling in all of the Dragonball series, you may not want to miss it.
If you enjoyed all of the above series then you may want to watch the Dragonball super Broly movie which contains the story of the legendary super Saiyan Broly said to be the strongest super Saiyan to be born.
Should I watch Dragon Ball z or Dragon Ball Kai?
After watching DragonBall you will get this question in your mind whether to watch DragonBall Z or Kai, both the series contains the same story but in DragonBall Kai, you may see fewer filler episodes, more good quality animations, better pacing, also some new dialogues that were present only in the manga.
Dragonball z contained some fights that would take literally take 10 episodes to finish which is nowadays seen as filler at that time it didn’t matter but nowadays the anime fans want to get more story fewer fillers, Hence Dragonball Kai is much preferred.
Is Dragon Ball GT worth watching?
After finishing the Dragonball z Buu saga you will get to choose to arcs to choose from Super and GT. if you want to see the grown-up versions of your favorite characters shown till Buu’s arc then you may want to see GT arc. this arc contains some god-like fighting scenes that you don’t wanna miss. you also get to see super Saiyan 4 forms of the Saiyans and their fusion formed super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, which are exclusive to this arc only.
